Song Title: Desperate. Recorded April 7th 2009 at The Independent in San Francisco. This was the first Green Day show in 3 years and featured the World debut of their first new album in 5 years, 21st Century Breakdown, which they performed in sequence in its entirety (16 songs). The album is divided into 3 Acts, and this song is from Act 2: Charlatans and Saints. The new work is a cohesive, brilliant effort from a maturing band with expanding range. A singular achievement. It's a monster.
